Finishes are hard-wax oil or low-VOC lacquer — they cure to a surface that resists water, heat, and scratches without looking plastic.
• Function – every measurement is tested against common household use. Tabletops are 1.25 inches thick to resist bowing. Legs are set back so you do not stub your toes. Shelf depth fits standard books and storage bins. We do not add features that complicate cleaning or assembly.

What that means for you: you buy it once, you set it up in twenty minutes, and you stop thinking about it. That is the point.

How we think about use
